“I want to thank pupils, teachers and parents for their hard work over the past year.
“Young people have worked hard to achieve their results in challenging circumstances.
“Many congratulations to everyone who were completing courses, you should be proud of what you have achieved.
“For some, they won’t have received the results they were looking for, but there are is no ‘right path’ when it comes to careers.
“You can call the UCAS helpline on 0800 100 8000 at any point, should you want extra advice or support about your results”.
