Rachael Hamilton MSP is hosting a Borders Business Breakfast Summit at Ednam House Hotel, Kelso to discuss a wide range of business issues.
The business breakfast is to be held on Friday 1st March 2019 from 8am-9:15am and a wide variety of businesses, Government agencies and fellow MSPs have been invited to take part in the event.
The meeting will bring together a number of key local stakeholders such as small business owners, business organisations, local elected representatives and will provide a great opportunity to discuss these issues in more depth- with a particular focus on the direct experiences of business owners and stakeholders in the Scottish Borders.
If you would like to attend this event then please RSVP to [email protected] by Monday 25th February 2019. Please clearly state the name(s) of attendees and the company or business you are representing in the RSVP.
Ettrick, Roxburgh and Berwickshire MSP, Rachael Hamilton said:
“Over the course of the last few months, I have been made aware of issues affecting the area including business rates, anti-social behaviour, littering, tourist tax, workplace parking levies, business closures and much more.
“With this in mind, I felt it was important to bring together members of the business community to discuss in an open forum what actions could be taken forward to alleviate the pressures businesses are facing.
“Businesses are the backbone of the Borders’ economy, and I look forward to positive outcomes as a result of this meeting of businesses on the 1st March”.
