The SNP-Green Government are very anti-driver.
They have refused to invest in improvements to local roads or fund councils properly to fix potholes.
Good local roads are vital for people’s everyday lives, so they can visit family, get to work and run their businesses.
That is why John Lamont MP and I are calling on the next First Minister of Scotland to invest in key roads across the Scottish Borders and make it a top priority to dual the A1 and renew the A7 and A68.
This would boost the Scottish Borders economy, deliver more jobs and improve people’s daily lives.
Humza Yousaf, Kate Forbes and Ash Regan must promise to deliver the local roads that people across the Borders deserve.
